Ventured into the field in 1995 as a technical assistant before looking through the lens. Worked in more than twenty features films and three hundred plus video songs as a Cinematographer, Kandi remains one of the most experienced yet experimental with his captures. Namely, “Fathishandhuvaru”, “Fathishandhuvaru – Feshun” (1st 3D film) and almost all seasons of the critically acclaimed TV show “Vattafaalhi” are credited to Kandi for his stylish cinematography. “China Maldives – Friends along the belt” documentary with breath taking frames and “Hahdu” movie with a scenic cinematography are both outstanding dedication to the truth out there. He talks from his long serving experience and always has his ears open for new ideas.
